Penguin Design Award

Concurrently i have been working on my entry for the Penguin Design Award 2010, i have chosen to follow their Adult Prize brief which is to re-design the paperback cover for Patrick Süskind's Perfume. Influenced by experimental jewellery that leaves an impression on the skin of the wearer, i used rubber stamps and Gill Sans metal type to create lettering on my skin and then photographed them under uncorrected tungsten light with a macro lens.
