For the next editorial illustration about humility and debate in the face of faith the word 'doubt' will be in solid three-dimensional letters that can be dramratically lit and photographed. I i did this by using Google's free 3D software Sketchup, after designing and saving by opening the files in 'Papakura designer 4' - this creates 2D printable nets that can be folded into the shapes.
Instead of using the paper developments as is i am using them as molds, in which i pour plaster to create the letters. From previous experience, after creating the 3d letters, i reinforced the outside with a hot glue gun and a lollipop and match stick structures.
